2. Hosting and server log files

The website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. Whenever a page is requested, the server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested file, amount of data transferred, referrer, browser and operating system. This serves the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The log files are deleted after a short time. A data processing agreement with STRATO is in place (Art. 28 GDPR).

3. Contact by email

If you send us an email, we use your details only to answer your request or to let you know about the launch of mix4cast as you asked (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). We delete the data when it is no longer needed for this and no statutory retention periods apply.

4. Launch notification (double opt-in)

When you sign up with the form, we store your name, your email address, the language, the times of sign-up and confirmation, and a shortened, irreversible value derived from your IP address as proof and to prevent misuse. We first send you an email with a confirmation link; only after you click it are you on the list. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 7 days.

We use the data only to tell you about the launch of mix4cast. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time – with the unsubscribe link in every email or by email to us; we then delete your data. The emails are sent through STRATO's mail server, and the data is kept in a database at STRATO in Germany.

5. Encryption

The website is delivered exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS connection.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

7. The mix4cast app

The app itself sends no usage or analytics data to us. Picture and sound go only to the destinations you set up yourself.
